Generator rental with an operator

An operator starts the generator, watches it, refuels it and responds if something changes, so your crew or event staff do not have to.

What an operator does

Starts and stops the generator

Brings power up before you need it and shuts it down safely when the work or event is over.

Monitors load and fuel

Watches the generator while it runs and refuels it before it runs low.

Handles problems on site

If a breaker trips or a circuit is added, someone who knows the system is there to deal with it.

When an operator makes sense

Choose an operator when the generator runs for long hours, runs overnight, or powers something that cannot go dark: a film set, a festival stage, a work camp, or a business during a long outage.

For round-the-clock jobs, combine the operator with 24/7 operation. Operator time is quoted by the hour or shift, based on your schedule.

Operator questions

Do I need an operator?

No. Many rentals run without one. An operator is optional and quoted separately.

Can the operator connect the generator to my building?

Connecting to a building or panel is electrical work. Use electrician hookup for that.
